Problem 1. We designed our cakes MONTHS in advance. Shawn called me THE WEEK OF THE WEDDING to tell me that the groom's cake design wouldn't be possible. So we were stuck deciding at the last minute on a back-up.
I have been using Mountain Flour for years. Shawn is a great pastry chef. I really like everything he does from Ice Creams to his wedding cakes. My all time favorite is the double chocolate mousse cake
Problem 2. The bride's cake looked NOTHING like what I had sent. I sent a picture, and the one I got was not even close. AND the damask pattern that was sprayed on the cake was smeared. I didn't even have our photographer take pictures of the cakes, I was so angry.
Amazing cakes! Shawn did a wonderful job creating the perfect cake for our wedding. He was very easy to work with and turned our dream cake into a reality.
