I stayed in the hotel for five days for work. Overall, I really liked it and would stay here again.
The breakfast was great. They scramble actual eggs. The breakfast area is very clean.
The rooms were clean. I didn't have any problems in the room.
The owners of the Comfort Inn truly went above and beyond to help us out. Our 2 year old was struggling with an 8 hour time difference, and they allowed us to check out later than usual so that our daughter could nap. This was priceless to us. We had a long drive ahead of us and our daughter won't sleep in the car. The car drive went immeasurably better because she was allowed to nap in the hotel before we left. This kindness meant so much to us. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you!
Clean room, friendly service, great breakfast, clean pool and hot tub. The room was pricey for a one day stay but due to a State Championship race we really had no choice.
Stayed with a family of 4 in a room with two queen beds. Slept well. Bathroom door didn't always want to latch, but it was otherwise a good stay. The wifi worked well. The breakfast had a decent variety for a small place (eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, danishes, some fruit; typical fare for this kind of place). There was a pool that we didn't get to use. It's right beside a grocery store with a Starbucks if your coffee/food needs are different. There's also good pizza take out in walking distance, and a walking trail leading to a foot bridge over the interstate, connecting you to the majority of town. For a randomly chosen place as a pit stop on a long drive with kids, we were very happy.
It's a good hotel for the price.
Is there a bad place to stay along I-70 in Colorado? The view from the front yard of this hotel was breathtaking, rugged mountains with a couple of towering snow-capped peaks in the distance! Room was nice, free breakfast always a plus! Nice enough staff, although the first clerk I priced my room with quoted me a price a full $45 less than the second clerk ended up charging me, and me telling the second clerk what the first clerk quoted me didn't even get a response, so somewhat frustrated with the two girls working that night.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
