Two were long distance to Florida, so it was part of the Allied System. Always on time and drivers and loaders were both times excellent. Arrived on time as agreed.
I am nothing short of appalled at how Columbine and Allied treated me as a client. Firstly, it was nearly impossible to get in touch with anyone to get answers to my questions--this was true from day 1. The only way I was able to make any headway was to go directly to the owner (who continued to pass the buck back down the food chain after a while). I placed my belongings in storage until I could secure a new place to live, and after I released my belongings to be delivered it took another 10 days for my things to be picked--and even then they sent a truck that wouldn't hold all of my things. It took WEEKS after the promised delivery window for me to finally have all of my things. When I asked what I would be compensated for the trouble of having to piece my life together due to their negligence and poor planning, I couldn't get a response! The Columbine rep once again passed the buck to corporate, saying any claims had to go through them, but corporate gave me the run around, too. Nobody has called to speak to me, despite MULTIPLE calls and emails requesting to speak to a manager or someone in charge. They obviously do not care one iota about trying to keep me as a client or correct their wrongs, or indeed, even apologize for them.
The bottom line: I have never been treated worse by a company, and there's not enough money in the world to ever make me use Columbine or Allied ever again--and I'm making sure to tell everyone I know to do the same.
We used Columbine to move us across the country from CO to OH. We evaluated 3 different moving companies in the valley and chose Columbine. Columbine estimated my move from Aspen to Santa Barbara quite accurately. The crew packed most of my goods and carefully loaded my furnishings on their truck for the trip to CA. Everything arrived intact except for 2 damaged items which they had repaired in a timely manner. It was a job well done.
